Wow thats amazing, thats gotta be a 1 in 5 million chance...
That is awesome. Reminds me of my grandfather in World War II...he was hit with shrapnel, and it broke off the top of his femur bone...but it was slowed down before that by a wallet full of pictures of my grandmother and his family back home. My mother has the wallet saved, it has a big chunk where you can see the damage from the shrapnel, but it most likely slowed the velocity of the projectile down enough to really prevent worse damage and probably saved his life.
I hope that family keeps that ring for future generations, it's got to be an amazing piece of luck for them.
You see, all you doubters that say marriage is outdated?? With more and more gun crime occurring everyone should be running down the aisle as soon as they can, just in case!!
