I keep seeing the ads for the bullstrap cases for the 12 series phones and the pics on their website look great. It seems the 12 cases have been on preorder forever. I was curious if anyone’s gotten one of the saddle brown cases yet and if you could share your thoughts on feel and color and maybe post a pic. I did see one other thread with a negative review on the folio as relates to the wireless charging but nothing more.

Bullstrap Leather iPhone 12 cases?

I just got my Bullstrap for the iPhone 12 Pro in the Sienna (saddle color).
I really like it. I had ordered the navy and saddle from apple but overall I feel like the Bullstrap is higher quality. It feels better and smells better. I like the sienna color better than the Apple saddle color (personal preference, of course).
It’s got the open bottom which some people like and some don’t versus Apple closing the bottom this year.
The buttons feel solid and are nice and clicky. It sits flat as the lip around the camera is even with the rest of the case. Provides a mm or two of “protection” for the lenses if you set it down on the back, and there’s a small lip on the front so the screen won’t hit the table when you set it down on the front.
I would personally recommend the Bullstrap over the apple leather cases unless you plan to utilize the MagSafe capabilities.

Bullstrap cases look nice. I’m deciding between the bourbon, black and ocean blue bullstrap. The sienna looks very nice but I have another brown leather case, so looking at these three.
I was torn between the sienna, bourbon, and ocean. I really liked the way my old apple saddle one from my iPhone 7 aged, and I had a navy apple leather on my X that worked well too, so I wanted to see how the Sienna aged. I think they’re all solid options.
I’ve just ordered a bourbon one for my 12 Mini.
But have to wait a while sadly as I’m in the UK and they ship from the US. Although at least the pre-order wait appears to have gone for this case now which is what put me off initially.
