Bumper on Black Iphone, looks kinda ugly dont you think? Maybe that's why they always show it on white? what do you think?
 
you've seen the bumpers, now imagine it on black...u really need a pic for that, seriously? lol

and its a question of opinion..wow
 
I do think it's very telling that Apple only has pictures of them on the white version.

I would like to see it on the black version...I like the concept, but I have trouble believing it will look good.
 
I agree, which is exactly why I want the White iPhone. Those bumpers would look awful on a black iPhone, which is why they only show the bumpers on the White iPhones.

I like the black on black (you can quote me on that). I ordered a black bumper for my black phone yesterday. Not sure if I'll like using it or not but I figured I would give it a try.

True.. I also like blue on black bumper. It looks nice.
 
Thanks for the pics cmwall. Those bumpers really do look awful on black (with the exception of the black and white bumpers).

I'm still holding out for White iPhone w/ White Bumper.:D
 
I'm just kinda peeved that the bumpers weren't going to be available via preorder and delivered with the iPhones on June 24. I don't feel like going naked, and I'd hate to get to the retail store, knowing it's all gonna be sold out.
 
my main concern is how pocket friendly the bumpers will be. My 3g has been naked for about a year now because I hated the way cases would stick to the cloth of my work pants.
 
Honestly, they don't look any different than any bezel-covering case does on a a 3G or 3GS. I have an Incipio NGP on my 3GS right now and it's precisely the same effect (in terms of appearance from the front.)

I'm worried about that, too. Since it's that sort of off rubber, I'm sure it will stick to clothing. I've never had a case on my iPhone 3G, though.

You were probably using those crappy silicon cases.
 
I was browsing bumpers on apple.com and it said june 24th for the date not july 2nd..
 
I'm going black and black and the material looks shiny like a Speck Candy shell so it will slide in a pocket just fine IMO.

What about those Sena leather pouches they are just a few mm thin and italian napa leather and really doesnt bulk phone out at all. Also it is felt lined so cleans your phone (sort of) when you put it in and out. Had mine on my 3GS and it's kept it in tip top condition.

That way you can protect the front and back in your pocket, reduce grime and also doesn't add bulk. When i bought mine was £25 so guessing they will prob do one this time around for around £30

I had a few different ones but ultimately I just stopped using them. One was a definite cheapie but I had a pretty nice one at one point that still clung. My 3g still looks pretty good too, and I'm not the most delicate person when it comes to gadgets. It has survived many rough nights and it's still in pretty good shape. I'm sure I won't miss it once my 4 shows up though :)
 
I wish they made some darker colors. Besides the black and white, they're all too neon'ish for my taste. I'd like to see a dark green, dark blue, red, etc..
