Bumper on Black Iphone

The bumpers are the entire reason I was considering a white phone. (I hadn't before.)
But when the news came out that they weren't selling white phones yet I said "eh" and just got the black one. I probably won't be getting a bumper now.

I ordered white, however, if I like it I'm thinking green will be next. It's really cool looking!
My wife is getting green on black and I'm getting blue on black. She likes the green for being able to find her phone in her purse and I like how the blue accentuates the wallpaper background.
Honestly, as I stated another thread, I think the white phone looks odd with bumpers, while the black takes the cake on sexy.
I like Black on Black. Though I have seem marWare has a dark blue and a red that tickles my fancy.

I couldn't make up my mind between a black or white phone, Apple made up my mind for me.
I'm thinking of getting the orange bumper because it will make finding the phone easier. Yellow would have been really cool.
I keep my 3Gs in an Otterbox Defender case which is yellow and black I can easily find where I laid it down, so a yellow bumper would have been the cats meow. Orange will do nicely and since the colors of the University of Illinois is Orange and blue it will be proper that way also.

The black bumper looks good on the black phone. The other bumper colors are hideous. Who decided on those? Blech.
Is your bumper shipping the same day as your phone? I ordered both at the same time and according to my order status it seems like I will get my bumper 3 or 4 days after I get my phone. No huge deal, I was just curious.
In this case, availability date was the deciding factor. I was waffling between green or orange, and had just settled on green; but then I noticed that while the black bumpers are being released on June 24, the pink, white, orange, and blue are a week later on July 2. Green is all by its lonesome with a release date of July 16th. I decided that I could wait a week for the orange, but waiting 3 weeks for the green was too long to go without a case. Orange it is.

i like the pink on black... the bumpers on the white makes the white iphone look like toy.... i was contemplating getting white... til i saw it with the bumpers (and that decision got cemented with it not being available!)
Not to get too off topic but according to the pics on page 1 it looks like iPhone 4 will fit in the new dock with the bumper on. Agree?

I don't usually put cases on my phones. But the bumper seems like a nice alternative considering I'll likely get my boyfriend a 4g for Christmas/Birthday (His birthday is a week before Christmas). And he's not interested in the White either. And I know that we'll want some way to tell which phone is which. We already have trouble with my Edge and his 3G.
I was about to place my order for the Pink Bumper, but it's not supposed to ship until the 16th. Now does that mean it's backordered until then, or is there a possibility I can get one at my Apple store in Pink? I placed my pre-order with my local Best Buy, and I'd rather not make the trek out to my Apple store. But that pink is really cute. And I'm a little nervous about dropping the damn phone while I wait for a bumper.

Actually i think those colors look pretty sick on the black phone! I think i like them on the black better than the white, but to each his own. The blue looks really nice, and so does the green - thats what i'm hoping to get eventually. Although everyone seems to like the black on black look, but that seems too dark for me. Too much of one color. I'd love to keep the phone naked if i could guarantee pieces (volume buttons, silent button, etc...) wont break off. Also if i was a chick i'd walk around with the pink one on the black phone - looks really cool, i think. But i know i'd catch **** for it from my friends.
