Bumper question

Wife and I each got a new iPhone 4S.

I picked up a black bumper at the Apple store. Nice, "grippy". Got home, wife decided she wanted one, but in white.

I order it from Apple's website.

Get it in, and it isn't "grippy" at all. I cannot feel any difference between the edges and the middle of the bumper. It is hard and slick.

Anyone else have a bumper with this problem?

I picked up a white bumper tonight for my white 4s. I would agree that it is not very grippy.....but it looks dang nice. 😎

I can confirm your finding. The white bumper is definitely less "grippy" than the black bumper. Not sure why though.
