I downloaded submerge to put subtitles on 2 of my avi movies and then saved it to a single file in my hd. If I open it on my mac, it works ok, with the subtitles integrated.. however, when I use the app Burn to make a DVD, the subtitles are gone. How may I burn the dvd without removing the subtitles? I tried iDVD and it didn`t remove the subtitles, however the conversion takes about 4 hours, while burn only takes a few minutes.
Any help?

Are you making a Video DVD with Burn? If Burn is only taking a few minutes to convert the file, something is wrong.

AVI files need to be transcoded into MPEG2 in order to play in a DVD player. iDVD is doing it right, and it sounds like Burn is doing it wrong.
