Is it possible to burn a DVD, to watch on TV, from a movie you have purchased on iTunes?

Short answer: No. Watch it on your Apple TV, Mac, PC, or iPod. If you don't like that, buy the DVD.
And if you don't want to do that,[I don't recommend/support this] pirate it.

    Hypothetical Answer:
While it is possible to "capture" the movie (recording the DVD from the screen while it's playing), it is by all means impractical. For one, you'll lose quality. And, even if you can put up with bad quality, the sound probably won't be synced correctly with the video. Not to mention it would be inefficient and illegal.

I can believe people actually "buy" songs and "rent" movies.

It's not available for the Mac yet, but would this do the trick...

I haven't used it but I'm wondering if people found it useful.
