I copied some Garrison Keillor audiobooks to iTunes. I created the genre audiobook, and they went into my music.

Curious, I checked the configuration to show audiobooks, and it was empty. I dragged them from music to the audiobook icon, but nothing happened.

At my work there is another shared library - I opened it and didn't see audiobook - so maybe it isn't a category that can be shared - in which case I probably want to leave it mis-filed as music.

There is a fix for this with several good options. Search for this topic, because there a about 4 or 5 threads that give great solutions to this. Basically you need them in the file format m4b.
