Hi,

I need to burn some pdf files from my Mac onto a cd for some people who use pc's. I've handed over a few cd's, but some people are saying they cannot open them - do I need to buy a piece of software such as toast in order for me to burn cd's which are compatable for pc?

Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

It should work in Finder, but if not, I know Toast lets you burn in both Windows and Mac...
Working in a PC/Mac environment, I've found the following:

- Use CDR and not CDRW discs.

- Close out your session. Do not leae it open.

Both the finder, under Mac OS X.2 or newer and Toast work very well on the Mac side. Nero works well on the PC side.

Hope this helps.

if you have Toast, there's this option where u can choose to burn it for Mac/PC...otherwise, just burn it like the normal way u burn files...drag and drop in the Finder...it should work as said above...

Thanks for the replies/advice. I've burnt the cd's in toast and they work fine.
