burning multiple dvds?

I was wondering, is it possible to burn multiple dvds on the same mac using different drives at the same time? Im thinking about bowering my friends external lacie dvd burner, and just wanted to know.Im using tiger by the way. Thanks!

I can't see why not. The only thing I would worry about is your system not being able to keep up with two burn processes. How fast is your mac?
