That's just plain silly! The iPhone games are great for time-killers and such but certainly not for serious gaming :rolleyes:
 
Another reason it wont take off as a gaming device is trading. Gamers like to trade in, sell, games that they are done with. On the iphone you are stuck with it.

But most people aren't serious gamers as casual gamers outnumber them by a lot so I don't know why people are saying this can't happen.
 
puahaha yeah right, the Iphone/ipod will never be a serious threat until they fix the stability of the platform

how many times have you had a game on a nintendo DS or PSP crash several times on you before it actually decides to play
No way, there are no crashes on a DS or PSP? :eek:

Most people who buy game devices are not serious gamers. Therefore a device designed so that it can't be used by serious gamers could still wipe out a majority of the dedicated game device market, probably taking with it a good share of the software market for those devices as well.
