Buy a Ford, get a Dell

Its threads like this that make me embarrassed to be a mac user, pointless zealously to follow only the mac. Remember, its the operating system that MS makes that is bad, if Dell can sell a computer with a monitor for 500 dollars I will give them credit, its something apple can't do. And my dad has a 79 Ford Pickup with over 250K miles on it that he still uses as his main car (I don't know why when he has a never SUV in his driveway too, he claims its cheaper to use the pickup which is true)
Er, what? I don't see that as a focus (no pun intended) for the whole thread. I personally don't think Windows sucks so much as I think it's not as elegant. I have nothing against Fords, but I much prefer the other brands owned by Ford to Fords themselves. Personal preference. And, yes, Dells are fine. But they are simply not engineered as well as Macs. They all - and I've owned and used a number of them - look assembled from what's handy, not engineered. The inside of a PowerMac blows away any Dell. But they're cheap and fast.Vlade said:
