Buy a new iPhone now, or not?

i´ve got a problem:

i want to buy a iphone. the problem is, i don´t know if a better one will be presented on macworld.
But i´m thinking, because jobs won´t hold the keynote, that no big product-updates will be released.
so the question is to wait or not to wait until the macworld?

i´m from germany; so there is no AT&T
the provider in germany is t-mobile, which doesn´t sell refurb phones
