New ones aren't going to come in a month or two. Six months is the better prediction.

I decided to go ahead and the buy the 32 GB model, I don't feel like waiting six months plus to finally get a iPod touch. I have now ordered it from the apple online store with an engraving.

This will be my second iPod!

No one outside of Apple knows for sure.

It could be a year from now when new models are updated, or Apple may do an update sooner.

If the current iPod touch looks good to you, then I say get it now. You can always upgrade at a later date.

I didn't have a touch before today, but waited to see what was released.

After a "meh" impression of the "updates" I went and ordered a 16 GB refurb for the same "low" price as the 8 GB now is.

I feel kinda sorry for everyone who has been dumping their 8 GB ones on Craigslist.
