Can I use my iPhone to buy an iPad app for use on my iPad (I don't have it with me)? I've searched but can't find a way, but I think I've done this before...

Thanks for any advice.

As far as I know, no. They would not allow it because it could cause issues where someone would accidentally buy an iPad only app on their iPhone, and then have to deal with the issue since they don't have an iPad.

It may be possible, but I highly doubt it, and I've never seen it done.

No, you can´t do that.
But it would be a nice function IF you have an iPad connected to same Apple ID as the iPhone.

Only if its universal, i.e., can run on both, otherwise you will only see iPhone apps.
