As Apple still sells the 7 it’s highly unlikely that they’ll stop support with ios13. That would not even be long enough to cover the 2years warranty in Europe;)

So don’t overthink that.
 
go on swappa and u can get a 8 for 400 bucks, or better yet get the 7 for 200-300. the only reason i would get an 8 over 7 is probably the battery duration, 8's chip suppose last longer due to the lower mhz cores that takes over when phone not in demand

Or maybe just get the 7+ which in many ways could be the best of all worlds. At 499 on Cricket it's not that expensive, I get the two cameras, more RAM, and really good battery backup. I am assuming that with my kind of usage I'll easily be able to make it last through the day.
What say?

If the larger size does not bother you, I'll recommend the 7 Plus. I had one for 2.5 years and the screen and battery life are great. Plus it's got the extra RAM, so that's some insurance for future performance.
