Buy iPhone now or after Sept. 30?

I don't know whether to get an iPhone 4 now or wait until after September 30th. Is there much likelihood of a revised iPhone or the White iPhone?
I can get a pretty nice deal on eBay right now..
 
If you buy it now, you get a free case. If you buy it after the 30th, you don't. Outside of that, there isn't really anything else to consider.
 
Yeah I'm aware of that. Although I'll probably be buying from eBay where most of the listings are including cases.

You can still get a free case after the 30th if you call AppleCare and request one.

There is a very low chance of a revised iPhone for AT&T. There is probably a better chance of the White iPhone showing up.

It wouldn't be just for AT&T, it would be for the entire planet.
 
Its been confirmed that a revised iPhone will be available June/July of 2011

For someone who waited until now might as well wait another 15 days... unless you are desperate for a free case lol.

I would wait... But then again... I already got it :p

What's the advantage to waiting until after Sept. 30th?

Now you're the one speculating.

My guess is that they're waiting for the quarter to end (Sept. 30th) so they can begin selling the white iPhone and boost sales numbers for the next quarter. Although I think demand has been greater than expected so they may wait until the Jan quarter to bust out the white one. A "White Christmas" advertising campaign can't be overlooked for a December release either. That doesn't seem like Apple's style though.

Yeah, they're just waiting to sell the White iPhone for next quarter. Huh?! It's been a production nightmare. If they could get it out right now, they would. Timing the launch of the white iPhone 4 has nothing to do with quarterly earnings and everything to do with manufacturing issues.
