although some may consider it a a spec bump I think its a significant upgrade (20% faster), better battery. Maybe worth it for those of us (me too) who recently purchased an M1 to return those..

Thanks all. Bit the bullet and got a base M1 Pro 14 for £1700. £199 saving from apple, and via John Lewis you get a 2 year warranty.

OP should still be within return window.

Most importantly though is whether he takes the correct advice this time. If he didn't buy when it was so obvious M2 was imminent, he wouldn't need return in the first place.

Harsh. The window was not that apparent and the differences not that great. He is still getting a computer that will serve well.
