Buy New 13" MacBook Air or save $100 on 2014 Model?

Going to be a silly question but how does best buy confirm the student discount/edu email? Just trying to get that additional $50 off

If you have an edu email address or no someone who does, just Google "Best Buy student discount" and enter the edu email address. They will email the discount coupon to the edu email that you use. As long as you get that coupon, they don't know or care if it is your email address or not.

While some say buying the 2014 is not worth the $100 savings, what about saving even more money and getting the 2013? The main difference between 2013 and 2014 was the introduction of the faster flash storage. Now the 2015 adds a "slight" processor bump and Thunderbolt 2. So I have been keeping an eye out for the 2013 refurb for $719 ($180 less than the new model). Is this silly?

I bought this model last august for $719 refurb'd and it has been a great machine. I couldn't justify 100mhz difference.
