Buy new iMac now or wait for ARM

    Forget ARM. It's all about nuclear fusion-powered quasi-organic 'thinking' CPUs. Should be here in about fifty years...

    If apple switches to ARM for a main processor, you'd want to get in BEFORE they switch lol. In house processors are a joke for desktop use. It's like building your own car in your garage

    An ARM processor would be terrible. Every app would have to be reworked, things like VMware would be dead, bootcamp would be dead, etc.

    Windows 8 supports ARM.

    And .NET is bytecode, like Java.

    Ok i'v no idea what ARM is, but imacs have just been refreshed so now is the best time to buy one.

    I am having a tough choice between the ARM and a chip that uses quantum mechanical phenomena. I can't wait.
