I have decided that the refresh will be this Tuesday, May 22nd because that is good for me! Hopefully nothing goes wrong causing me to have to eat these words and much worse, keep waiting!
Do whatever you want. If you think you'll regret upgrading now, wait. If not, buy now. Personally, there's no chance in hell i'm buying before the refresh, even if my current iMac dies suddenly.
Given that the new iMacs will mostly likely incorporate Retina display, I'd suggest waiting. I do a lot of editing with FCPX and plan on upgrading when they the announce the new models in June.
I also don't think you'll see them released before WWDC just because it probably will have the Retina display and releasing it early would lessen the impact they would have if they announce new MacBook's with Retina at WWDC. My guess is that they'd want to announce all personal computers with Retina at the same time. That's what I'd do at least.

Buy now for sure! If the new Mac has what you need, you can always buy another one. They are not that expensive.
And you base that conclusion on what? A MR report that someone told someone that Apple considers it and that coem company announced a 32" of that type (there isn't even a 32" iMac to begin with). I believe that 'most likely' is very poorly worded.

Well I am glad I didn't wait now! I have been enjoying my new 27" iMac for almost a month and there was no news at least initially about new iMacs the other day.
I'd say I made a good choice to just go for it. Next time everyone is waiting on a refresh and I am too, I will at least have a nice iMac to be waiting with. I had an old PC before this major upgrade.

Smart move in retrospect. I'm replacing mine with a refurb mid-range stock 21", rather than waiting for the latest and greatest. Only 4x faster than my current Mac, instead of 6x, but it should last for a year or two, and cost less than half my budget.

Well those parts numbers must be for something so I don't think it going be that late probably then or before cuz the numbers matched with the new products along with price on the AU apple website...
my PC is working ok so my stance stays the same I guess, still pissed but I'm not getting a MBP
