hi guys my friend got an extra laptop from work and wants to sell it to me for AUD $1500. its a brand new 2015 macbook pro retina 15 with the amd graphics. should i wait for updated 2016 mbp? I''ve been researching a bit and found that the amd m370x is really weak and not good for games at all. apparently its better to get the 2013 rmbp refurbished with the gtx 750m. my budget is $1000 to $1500 and im willing to buy used. what should i do guys =/

bump~
need some help deciding. skylake is coming out soon but i don't think i can afford it lol. hoping it drives down pre-existing rmbp prices.

It's not "really weak", it's better optimised for professional apps sure ,but it's still a decent mid range mobile graphics solution and is better for most games the 750M, although there isn't much in it for some of them and huge leaps for others.

As for waiting, you will in all likelihood get the next generation AMD in the next iteration of the rMBP so if thats not what you want then it seems a bit pointless waiting.

To be honest if gaming is your priority get a gaming laptop, always buy the right tool for the job.
