No this isn't yet another should I get an iMac, Mac Mini, or Mac Pro this week or wait till MWSF thread. Stop asking us if we think you should buy now or wait. If you can't wait till MacWorld, less than two weeks to find out what is coming out, if you don't have enough xmas stuff to keep you busy or you have nothing else to do till school starts again, then go ahead and buy your Mac now.

We don't know what is coming out and I personally wouldn't buy based on speculation. You won't get Leopard for free and you may or may not get iLife '07 at this point.

Yes there is a good chance there will be Mini bumps -> C2D. But maybe not. iMacs, less chance but something could happen. MWSF will most likely focus on iLife '07, more Leopard info and a high probability of a release date, a very good chance of more iTV info and maybe a shipping date (though this could come like the Intel Mini and Hi-Fi as a media event in Feb. or March). We will also most likely see an iPhone, though that could be delayed. And the chance of a widescreen/touchscreen iPod is slim to none for this expo. Apple will most certainly want to have some computer (and I'm guessing not just the Mini) be a highlight, but it is doubtful to be a Dual-Quad Mac Pro or anything new to the MacBook or Pro lines. The big surprise could be a mid-sized tower/headless iMac.

MWSF Keynote

iTunes - iPod sales
new Studios and movies added (50% chance)

iLife '07
iTV - to hit on iLife integration (50% chance)

Leopard - more news and release date (80% chance on date)

Mac Mini goes C2D - (50% chance, though they may wait till Santa Rosa and upgrade the motherboard and chip together, along with MacBook and 17" iMac in April/May)

Black iMac (20% chance)
Product Red iMac or MacBook (20% chance)
Redesign of the MacBook Pro case (20% chance)

one more thing...
New Mid Tower, Mac Pro Jr., Mac Pro Mini, Headless iMac (25% chance)
or more likely iPhone (70% chance) though if you see the iPhone before Steve says 'one more thing...' then the mid tower could be last.
