Hello,
In the next couple weeks its my birthday, and Im wanting to get a Macbook.
Should I get a used White Macbook straight away, or put the money away and get a refurb Alu Macbook?
Opinions.

Thanks.

Oh, well you can keep checking daily the refurbs on Apple.com and look for a great deal.

Yeah, Although the Refurbs from Apple are a "save up for" price. I'm looking to get a Macbook for about AUD$800-900, Anything past that, and i'll have to wait and save up:)

BTW, I'm only 15 ;)

I don't know the exchange rate, but I think you can get that white Macbook I showed you for around 900-1000AUD.

try and go for the baseline 13" pro. it has firewire and the awesome battery life.

firewire isnt important for me. but is useful. battery life, i have no care for it what so ever. although i would like to be able to say to someone i got a mbp for my birthday, that'd never happen, at a cost of AUD$1900 :|

if you can afford it, buy the MBP 13" baseline.

spending a little less to get a MacBook wouldn't be worth it - when for a little more you get everything you need and more.

i don't see why you should wait unless you just don't have the $$

if battery life isn't important to you.. then that's kind of strange.
