    Hi guys,

I will be in USA for a short duration. I would wanna buy an unlocked iPhone 4 for myself, while am here. Let me know, which is the best place to buy it, apart from the Apple stores. I am looking for a place, where unlocked iPhone 4 is offered cheaper that at the Apple stores.

FYI, I dont have a paypal account with a US address in it, So i think buyin from ebay is ruled out, as most of the sellers need paypal verified account and US address. (Correct me if this assumption is wrong).

    Thanks.

Thanks for the options. But, I got a question. Why is that Apple store sells unlocked 16GB iPhone 4 at $650 (+ approx $45 for taxes) and eBay n Amazon like guys sell it for $730 to $740, even with free shipping.

Does an unlocked phone stay unlocked after joining with a new carrier?

Buy it from Amazon and that way you don't pay taxes. Unless you ship to New York, Washington, and I cannot remember the other two or three states.

Craigslist is always a good option - that way you can test out whether the phone is unlocked or not.
