Buyer's Guide: Deals on 'Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel', iPad Mini 2, Retina MacBook Pro, and More

As for Macs and iPads, there are a limited number of deals this week, but retailers are continuing to offer older iPad Air and iPad mini 2 models at decent discounts. There have also been some recent price drops on remaining stock of the 2013 Retina MacBook Pros, and we have a selection of discounts on Apple accessories as well. As we head into Black Friday and the holiday season, expect to see some deeper discounts on Apple products.

2014 Retina iMac

The 27-inch 3.5GHz/8GB/1TB iMac with 5K Retina display is available from Amazon, Adorama, B&H Photo, and MacMall for $2,449, which is a discount of $50 off Apple's regular price.

These sites also have the Retina iMac in stock, while Apple's site lists shipping estimates of two to three weeks for the machine.

2014 Mac mini

The 2014 1.4GHz/4GB/500GB Mac mini is available for $449 from Amazon and B&H Photo, a $50 discount off of Apple's price.

For the next few weeks, Target will be offering 10 percent off all of the items on a child's wish list. Parents need to download the Target Wish List app and have kids create a wish list of products that will then be available at a 10 percent discount. It's not too strange. I prefer having to put the extended battery in my car or something so I don't have to worry about carrying around a phone the size of the iPhone 6 Plus with me all the time. Also, I don't have to worry if the built-in battery runs out. And besides, at least the iPhone 6 + extended battery will fit into my pocket unlike the iPhone 6 Plus

It's not even worth $45.

At most, I'd say it might be worth $30. It basically plays like a glorified DLC for Borderlands 2, made by a studio who doesn't quite get the original games (so it's basically "more borderlands", but it's not on the same level as the first two).

The story is pretty shallow and the gameplay is horribly repetitive (shoot the same NPC model over and over and over again). It isn't even much of a sandbox because you're stuck on the surface of a moon, and there's no atmosphere, and your air slowly runs out (so you have to recharge it often). Which means you can't just run around like you could in BL/BL2.

If you haven't played BL2, I'd highly recommend you play that one first. Hell, BL1 is pretty good and the Knoxx DLC was amazing. If you can get through all that and still say "I WANT MOAR", then I guess BLS might be worth buying, but not at full (or nearly full) pop.

iPad Air has become really cheap right now, however I'd find it hard to pick up 1 due to the fact that the Air 2 is so much better. However if you're on a budget its a great deal.

As someone who is a huge fan of the series I say it is well worth the $60. I actually paid $90 to get the season pass and don't regret it for an instant. So far me and my best friend have beaten it 4 times and are on our 5th play though. It's not fair to compare it to borderlands 2 because all the dlc and everything is out so it obviously is bigger. When borderlands 2 came out is actually got bad reviews too for the same reasons, you can't compare them. Also it's a shoot and loot, so when you say repetitive you just mean shooting (which spoiler. The game is about). That's like saying a racing game is too repetitive cause it's just the same thing but a different track. Don't speak for everyone please, I'd recommend it over the first game anyway.

I'm a huge borderlands fan so I know what I'm talking about (over 1,000 hours in all the games by them)
