Not a major thing but I wanted to ask what the "range" of time is between Apple announcing products and their release. Typically I think most products get an announcement and then are available to order a week later, but historically has there been same-day availability, or products formally announced with more than a month's notice? Asking just to get a sense of up to how many days "off" the MacRumors Buyer's Guide historical tracking could be, since I'm pretty sure it exclusively references announcement dates. Just a note to discuss!

The Buyer's Guide data points should be order dates, not announcements. These are frequently the same day, though occasionally orders are few days after the announcement. Rarely they are significantly later than announcement.

I can't say for certain that there aren't any announcement data points in the lists that are not also order dates, but our intention is that they are all order dates.
