Hi

We've redesigned the look of the buyers guide and made it mobile friendly.

https://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

It also cross references the appropriate roundup which is our more complete discussion on a given product. Finally, we are also trying to do a better job with custom recommendations on products that are outliers, such as the iPod Classic and Apple TV.

Looks good! One little thing I noticed is that the thumbnail for the display section is of an iMac.

Not a big issue, but thought I would point it out just in case.

This is very nicely put together; from a reader's perspective, it is mercifully uncluttered. Actually, it is lovely and clean, clear, exceptionally easy to read and pleasantly easy to navigate. Very well done.

Looks good. I'd like the bars under 'Recent releases' to have a bit more contrast, ie. a darker dark grey. The grey on grey is a bit hard to distinguish. Other than that, well designed.

The new Buyer's Guide design.

I absolutely love the new design of the Buyer's Guide! Congrats, MacRumors!

Awesome! A definite improvement. I especially like the three 'at-a-glance' categories at the top, with more in-depth info for those who want it, below.

It's almost nit-picking, but if I had to make any suggestion at all, it would be "why not add Airport/TimeCapsule products to the "OTHER" category. A future addition perhaps?

Also, the description in the summary for the non-retina MacBook Pro is the same as the retina models.

Don't Buy Updates Soon

Apple's 13 and 15-inch Retina MacBook Pros are the company's top-tier portable machines with Haswell/Crystal Well processors.

Excellent! Well thought out, very nice fonts and spacing. Exactly the style I work so hard to achieve and often fall utterly short.

Thanks...we'll get that fixed.

Thanks. By default, the descriptions are automatically pulled from the corresponding roundups, but we only have a single roundup covering Retina and non-Retina MacBook Pros. I can override that though and do a custom description on the Buyer's Guide for the non-Retina one.
