Plants Vs zombies for iPad and iPhone are two different apps.

If she buys plants Vs zombies on her iPhone, when you get yours you can log onto her account. Go to settings, store, then log into her account and download it. Thats what my friend and I do.

You can download and run apps using any iTunes account, however after some time that applications will stop running, and you'll need to redownload them again via correct account (or sync with iTunes using that account? don't know for sure). Also as far as I remember synchronization with iTunes will remove all apps, which where downloaded using other account.
