Buying 2019 Mbp or wait?

Hi there,

I'm going to relocate soon so i've to buy myself a new mac with my countries keyboard layout :p (gave my old one to my wife)..
I was talking to a friend today and he recommended me not to buy the 2019 mbp and wait for the new one. (heating issues etc..)
What do you guys think? I'm going to use it for editing. Or, i can just buy a keyboard here and get myself an imac when i move?
And my last question is, should i upgrade graphics card to Vega if i buy mbp? I've been reading about problems with Vega cards..

Which model MacBook Pro? How long will you be relocating? It might be tricky getting the keyboard repaired in another country, though the 2019 model seems more reliable.

Personally I would wait a little longer. "Rumors" they may update current Pro with a newer keyboard possibly this month. If you need one now, get one, if not wait. I have a 2017 Pro and I have had they keyboard replaced twice now (not even 2 years old).

If you can, wait just a little longer. As mentioned, the 16" Macbook Pro is supposed to come out this month. Although it is a little concerning that we're half way through the month and still no other rumors or planned events.

Only would buy a laptop of thos current butterfly generation if someone had a gun at my head. Wait if you can would be my advice.

The only other consideration is of you still have 32-bit software pf some sort that is important to you. Since any mac models forthcoming will be Catalina and 64-bit only. Then ‘maybe’ buying a current gen and use it with Mojave might be an option.
 
I think that there might be a way to order a MBP with a different keyboard than the country you are living in, but I don't know with any certainty
 
If you need one now, buy one now, if you can wait, you'll always be better off. With the rumors of the 16" model, it is most likely going to be more expensive then the current model so the first question is what's your budget. We may or may not see a 16" MBP in October but since we have only two weeks left in the month it probably couldn't hurt to wait and see.

Pretty much this only buy if you found a excellent deal or you need a computer asap
 
Like i said..wait more 6 days..it is already confirmed in macos ..probably late october

Surely you can, I ordered mine from Apple USA and in the configurator, I chose Arabic.

Note that any language you choose other than English means the keyboard will be That Language/English so it will always have English keys as well.
