I am not the "owner" of the family plan I am on, but I am authorized to make any and all changes. The "owner" of the account is my mother, and she is eligible for an upgrade. Can I go into the Apple store and get a 3GS using her upgrade with out her there, and then just take my sim card and activate the phone, calling 611 and having them add the iphone data plan to my number?
She already has an iphone, so no changes should need to be made the her account, correct?
