No. That's how long the wait is for just the card.

ahhh, ic. thank you. in the future, will the apple store continue to be the only place i'd be able to get it?

Also, is it possible to have a mac pro rigged up at a physical apple store itself? would this service potentially be available in other stores outside of the states (I live in tokyo)

No. That's how long the wait is for just the card.

Yes, the apple store appears to be defaulting to 7 weeks when you order a standalone 8800 GT.

I ordered mine on Feb 12th and my estimated ship date was set to Apr 2nd.

Has anyone received a standalone 8800 GT yet? I know people have received an 8800 GT pre-installed in a new Mac Pro but I'm wondering if the 8800 GTs have actually started shipping to customers who ordered them a-la-carte.
