    Hi guys.

First thing to say is that I am not a mac user traditionally and am currently typing this on an old Lenovo laptop.

I have decided to jump into the world of mac, having liked what I see.
I don't want to spend a fortune so I have seen a second hand 2015 imac for sale on ebay from a local seller to me.
Having done a bit of research it seems like a decent model:

    21.5 inch mac, retina 4k, late 2015
    3.1ghz intel core I5
    8gb ram
intel iris pro graphics 6200 1536mb.
    480gb SSD.

advertised as perfect condition with accessories.

So... the question is how much would you guys pay? I have asked the guy and he said he wants £720. wondering if this is a good price?

    any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks guys

    Simon.

I wouldn't buy 4 year old hardware when you can get a new base imac for £1050 that comes with a 1 year warranty.

Reviewing eBay sales in the UK. The price is a bit high. I'd put it at £650 if that is an Apple OEM SSD. £600 to £625 if an aftermarket SSD. Especially if an SATA model not NVMe.

Thanks. I've had a look on the pics and it says Macintosh HD not sure if that means its apple, but yeah it does say its a SATA model. would you say £600 is a good offer?

for me i only take it for 500. 500 can buy a new good laptop anyway but mostly imac live longer then normal laptop so if you had budget 750 ish just take the mac mini and upgrade yourself ram.

Yes, at most. You can get that model for £650 on eBay with 16GB RAM and Apple 512GB SSD right now. That's the price I saw before shipping. From a major eBay reseller. With three such units.
