buying a 360 today. recommend a couple must have games

hi i'm buying myself a 360 today. i'm looking for some recommendations for games to buy. i'll probably buy 2 to start with. i generally lean toward shooters but and open to other things. so what are some definitive must have games?

Fallout 3 and Bioshock.
They're great on PC, probably great on Xbox too.

i want something with multiplayer. also i was never a big halo fan. i like my shooters with a little more of a lifelike feel to them. any thoughts on left 4 dead?

It's the best co-op game around. I forgot there was a 360 version Probably my fave game of 2008.

any of the call of dutys are a safe bet. and halo 3 is fun assuming you don't have mindless idiots screaming at you

rock band 2 is tons of fun for parties with friends too
