I'm going to buy an extra iPhone 6 from the Apple Store. Since I already have an account with Veizon and I just want an extra phone, I can simply put my sim in from the working 6 that I'm currently using and the new phone will work, correct? Is there anything else I should know?

Yes it will work. But why two of the same phone?

I bought the gold and want the silver too. I'm going to keep the gold so I can alternate between the two. I don't use cases so the color makes a difference to me.

Might as well get all three colors then.

I use three different cases myself....

Sort of a waste of cash just to have a different color. Save it for the 6S.

Hey, if you've got the cash and want both, then by all means buy what you want.

Any Verizon LTE phone will work just by putting your SIM in. You MAY have to call Verizon and get the right IMEI number put on your account, I'm not sure.

Care to give us a rundown of your expenditures so I can arbitrarily decide what I think you're wasting your money on?

For those that helped, thank you. For those concerned about what I spend my money on, find something better to do with your time.

I just did; I was able to spare 7 secs. on the prior and 5 secs. on this. Enjoy your 2nd iPhone. :p
