    Hi all,

I have looked through the forums but can't seem to get a definite answer.

I want to by a IP6 64gb, unlocked. In the UK the price is £619
The same (t-mobile, contract free) in the US is £460 + about 7% NY Tax.

    Thats a £160 saving!

Will it work fine on Voda UK 4G? Also, whats the warranty implication?

Have a friend travelling there in a couple of weeks and was thinking of getting it delivered to his hotel.

    Thanks.

I am in the US and I have no idea about the frequency of LTE coverage in the UK is. Please look at the link below and the LTE bands before making your decision.

If you travel a bit around Europe, you may want to get the phone specific for the UK (model A1586 or A1524), if you are just going to do HSDPA or HSDPA+, a US unlocked phone may cut it. In the USA, AT&T calls uses the following terminology in their marketing materials. I am not sure how the UK carriers do it.

    3G : HSDPA
    4G: HSDPA+
    4G LTE : LTE

Can you buy the A1586 version "device-only" in the US?

    That'd be the sweet deal!
