Hey I saw this on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...25417&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_1986wt_1139

i contacted the seller an saw it was too good to be true it has 6 gb ram 320 gb hd plus an external 500 hd drive, SILVER HARD CASE w/ Name Engraved
GENERIC CLEAR LAPTOP SLEEVE
Apple Remote
Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter
MagSafe Airline Adapter
I just think it is to cheap for 1400
but heres the catch i have to wait for 30 days for it to be shipped...
Is it a scam or I should proceed on buying it?

Edit: Im from Honduras and he is offering UPS shipping for 20 $ ! for a total of 1420$----

I think after 30 days, PayPal or other security methods are no longer covering your ass so it's likely that he will walk away with the money and never ship the actual item. What sounds too good, usually isn't. Avoid it

hmmm

but paypal doesnt say anything about it..... I had always thought that paypal
was secure in this kind of stuff.....

Paypal would likely cover your ass, but it would still be a hassle. If he doesn't provide proof of shipment to paypal, you'd likely get reimbursed. However, looking at his account, I see no real activity other than this for the past 6 months or so. Could be a high-jacked acct.

It is secure but this is its loophole. I'm not PayPal expert but as far as I know, it freezes the money for certain amount of time so the seller cannot walk away with the money, the buyer can then claim a report for eBay that the seller is a scammer if he hasn't shipped the item but if you first wait 30 days and then he should ship it, he's already gone with the money.

Someone who knows more, please correct me and add some info but anyway, that sounds fishy. Why isn't he shipping it sooner?
