Buying a PowerBook

Hopefully this thread isn't anywhere else but here it goes...

If the rumored new powerbooks specs are correct, which PB should i get since the current models will be on sale or refurb.

-PowerBook G4 12" 1.33GHz, 512mb, 60gb 4200rpm, superdrive, bluetooth 1.1

-PowerBook G4 12" 1.5, 512mb, 60gb 5400rpm, superdrive (dvd+r support), buletooth 2.0

I am not sure what the prices will be but I am guessing the 1.33 will be 1299 and the 1.5 will be 1599 (edu)

Which is better DVD+R or DVD-R? Are they the same?

Could Apple come out with Bluetooth 2.0 mouse + keyboard- I would really like a BT remote.

I have waited monthes for this to happen.

What's the point of BT 2.0 for mice and keyboards? It just ups the data transfer rate, right? Well, isn’t current BT sufficient for this? I don’t know, I’m just posing the question. Also consider – DVD+R is cool, but will you use it? Does it matter to you?

Regardless, I’d look at how much prices drop before deciding. Check Amazon – when new things are released, they tend to drop prices on the “old” stuff ASAP.
