buying a router. imac compatible?

    Yes that router will work but not to the fullest potential of your airport card thats built into the iMac. The iMac has 802.11n which is considerably faster. But if 802.11b/g is all you need then that will work just fine. I do not think you will get 108 speeds however.

    from the single 5-star review: "The wireless mode supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2, but it's not listed in the product details here."

    why wouldn't that be listed in the product details? seems odd to me. that and the fact that i've never heard of the company.

    I'd spend a bit more and get a known product name. Just my $.02.

    okay im going to go with the Netgear WGT624, its 35 dollars with shipping:D

    Agreed. Anything but Linksys.
