    Hi everyone,

I've recently sold my Galaxy S3 (Sick of Android), and I've been on the market hunt for an iPhone 5s. I've found one online and have gotten in contact with the individual selling the used device.

At the current time, he has an iPhone 5S (16GB White Factory Unlocked), he tells me the phone is in good condition, other than a couple minor scratches that can be covered with a case (see photos).

The phone is out of warranty... Which currently bugs me. However the individual does seem honest. He'd like me to meet him at his house and try out the device, he even has the original box with the same serial code.

My question the community is, what are the things I should be looking out for? How do you usually test out your used devices before purchasing them.

Also, to those who are curious, he is selling it for $350. Which is a fairly reasonable and understanding price. Do you think this price point is fair?

Let me know, your opinions are very appreciated.

Price is reasonable. Don't meet him at his house, meet at a local Starbucks. Make sure the phone is erased and you can log into your iTunes and iCloud accounts. Bring a SIM ejector and your nano-SIM to try out the cell functions. Check both front and back facing cameras and earphone jack. Try out the phone if everything seems to work OK you are probably good to purchase.
