Dell is offering a SMOKING deal right now. 24" LCD monitor (FP2405) with a DUAL CORE P4 (9100) for less than $1K. Yeah, you heard me right. Less than $1,000. I've had an Apple computer since my IIe days, but Apple will never, EVER have pricing like this.

Here's the latest Dell offer - 50% off LCD displays with "select" desktops:

Exp 9/28. Dell Home has 50% off LCD upgrades w/ select Dimension desktops. The 24in 2405FPW LCD now only $380 w/ system purchase. $900+ if buy alone.

Only disadvantage? You have to buy a Dell desktop to get the half price monitor.
