    Hi Guy's

I am in the process of buying a mac, I am going the refurb route. I am looking at a 2014 macbook air 13.3 for £849 or the macbook pro 13.3 £929. I am just wondering what your opinions are on these.

will be mostly using for itunes Library, movie collections etc, photo collection and some editing, nothing really taxing.

    any advice is much appreciated.

    cheers

Well the rMBP is a bit better

The rMBP has that lovely screen, 2 thunderbolt ports and an HDMI port, better processor and better GPU. The MBA has a much better battery life.

Basically unless the Battery life is the most important thing for you the rMBP is worth a little extra cash.

rMBP for sure. The display is worth it. However, the air has better battery life and is slightly lighter.
