buying an iMac: question about displays....

Ok I've been using Windows pcs for years and I have finnaly decided to upgrade to an iMac, can you, or better, has anyone ran one through a HD tv using it as the primary monitor? I.e through the hdmi slot, as I'm looking to put one through a 50" tv, thanks....

You need the mini-DVI to DVI adapter (which I don't think they include with iMacs anymore) and a DVI-HDMI adapter or DVI-HDMI cable. I hook my iMac to my TV once in a while and it works great.

Yeah, they don't include the adapters anymore with the iMac so you'll have to get them when you buy the machine.
