Just thinking ahead on this one... I have a killer desktop that'll last me a super long time, but my laptop is feelin the "old age" effects. I've owned the notebook, an HP dv3t, since June 2009. I was thinking of migrating to a newer means of portability when I graduate next spring (2013). I live in the Seattle area but could easily make my way down to Portland to buy the iPad tax-free. By that time, it would be the 4th gen. I'm in no rush to buy one now because I am doing just fine with the setup I have now. Should I go for it?
