I bought one on eBay, and when I open up iTunes...it has the buyer's number. I can't activate it, so I assume that I need another sim card. Will a trip to AT&T work?

Buying on ebay you pay what you feel comfortable.
If you're outbided you dont have to bid higher if you dont want to.

Well, I paid $700 with overnight shipping.
The phone would have been around $650 with tax anyway. So...$50 to not have to stand in line like a nerd is ok by me.

But yes, some of the prices that some items go for on ebay is nuts.
But also some of the deals you can get is also pretty good.
It all depends I guess.
