Dumb question, even though I pre-ordered my watch. Can I still purchase applecare right now?

Not sure if I have to buy it at time of pre-ordering the watch or I have a set # of days to get it.

you have 60 days to do it by attending an apple shop and showing your watch is not damaged.

This is what I plan on doing. Though in the end I may not pick it up at all. I alwyas say I'll get AppleCare and then never do. I'm pretty careful with my devices.
