Buying Games for IPhone

Hi All,

This is a very general question...

When i buy a game from iTunes for iPhone, do i get an executable for the game or i have to play the game online? If i do not use internet can I play an already bought game?

Whatever the mechanism is, Will it be the same with iPad too?
 
Once downloaded you can play it without an internet connection. Unless of course its an online only game 😛
 
So, in that case, can i make an application that presents the user with a list of (downloaded) games and then user can select one of those games and play.

I know iphone (or ipad) already shows us the list of downloaded games. But what if i am developing an application that contains - say 'Leisure' section in which these downloaded games are listed and they can be 'lauched' from this section...

[To clarify, the application will be developed for iPad and not iPhone]

And finally, if i download a game, is it necessary that i have to play that game on the particular iPad/iPhone using which it was downloaded? Can i play the game on other iPhone or iPad?

iPods, iPhones, and iTunes on computers all authorize themselves with a single iTunes store account.

Any device that is logged into the same account can download and use the same programs for free.

When I buy an app on my iPhone, my wife can instantly download it for free on her iPhone. When I buy a movie on my Macbook, my wife can copy it to her Macbook or her iPhone or my iPhone or my daughter's iPod.

I think there's some upper limit on the number of devices you can use on a single account, but it's high enough that I'll never bump into it.

I dunno...here's what I use for 1 iTunes account:

2 iPhones
1 iPod Touch
1 Apple TV
2 Macbooks
1 Mac Pro


So that's 4 devices and 3 computers. Still falls within your numbers so it doesn't really help us proove anything. But I can promise that at least that much is ok!
 
So, once i buy & download a game on my computer, can i copy the downloaded game to my iphone or do i need to download on iphone from itunes only?

(i understand i need not purchase it again!)
