45 and later are definitely 1.1.2.
44 and before are highly likely to be 1.1.1.
However most places, if not all have sold out of brand new 1.1.1.

I went with my sister to the Apple Store yesterday to get her an iPhone and was shocked to find that, after I activated the phone, I was asked to update to 1.1.2. Apple Stores still have v1.1.1 iPhones!
