Buying M1 iMac in Canada? Super late Shipping Dates

I ordered the M1 iMac the second it went on sale and it's shipping date is June 3rd to June 8th. But I was reading posts from people who didn't order it until 30 mins, even hours later whose shipping dates were May 21. I ordered the Silver 8-core GPU 16GB 1TB model. When did you guys place your orders and what shipping date did you get?

Do you think that spec may be available in store in Canada on the 21st so I could just go and buy it anyway? Is it possible the actual shipping date will be earlier than that date given? I don't get why it was such a late date compared to others. That's a really long time and my birthday is a couple days before my earliest shipping date so it would be nice to get it before that

Based on past delivery experiences, your order may get delivered earlier than quoted.

However you configuration is a CTO/BTO that usually leads to some delays.

I remember the original M1 devices were delivered on time (public launch date) for the base configurations.
My M1 was delivered on launch day which was great.

Then again, my iPhone 12 Pro was not delivered on time and the date quoted (2 weeks after launch day) was correct.
I could not wait so what I did was go into the Apple Store and pick up the same exact configuration and then return the other iPhone 2 weeks later.

I just got an email today from Apple with a UPS tracking number saying it has shipped (coming to Vancouver), and UPS shows it as a May 21 delivery, yet my Apple account is still showing May 25 - June 2. I ordered it about 5 minutes after it went on sale.

You'll probably get an earlier shipping date too, however I'm not sure when it will ship. Is your order status preparing to ship?

I just got an email today from Apple with a UPS tracking number saying it has shipped (coming to Vancouver), and UPS shows it as a May 21 delivery, yet my Apple account is still showing May 25 - June 2. I ordered it about 5 minutes after it went on sale.

I’m in Vancouver too! I haven’t received an email, haven’t been charged and as of yesterday it still said Processing. All day today for some reason it says:
“Your complete order history cannot be displayed right now.
Check back in a few hours to see all of your orders.”
I purchased it the second it went online and I’m very quick as I buy a lot of exclusive sneaker & clothing releases that sell out instantly and I type over 190WPM.

I have no idea what’s going on as I’ve found people who ordered full days after myself who have much earlier shipping dates. I wonder if I should call Apple, very frustrating!

I've got the same thing going on, with my iPad Pro order. I'm in Montreal.

My preorder email conformation is dated 8:10 and I've already received the Apple Pencil that was included in the order. But Haven't seen a change from Processing on the iPad. My Shipping estimate has been June 3-9, from the time that I was finally able to keep the iPad in my cart and check out.

UPS is showing a Friday delivery but Apple just updated my order and it says it'll be delivered Wednesday, May 26 so I'm not too sure at this point what is happening either!
