Hey guys,

You should skip the 15" and get a 2019 16" instead. The 15" has the defective butterfly keyboard which is both very unreliable and very expensive to repair. The 16" does not have these problems.

NO !!
DON'T DO THIS !!

The 2019 MBP 15" has a butterfly keyboard -- a disaster for Apple.
If one key breaks on you, it's going to cost $750 for the repair -- FOR ONE KEY.
The entire top case will need to be replaced.

Fishrrman's rules for used MacBook buying:

DO NOT BUY:
MacBook Pro 13" -- 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
MacBook Pro 15" -- 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019
ALL of these have the disastrous "butterfly keyboards" that are highly-prone to failure. Although Apple has a free replacement program running for 4 years "from new", when that time expires YOU will pay for the repair.
And it's NOT CHEAP -- $750 for even a single key gone bad.
That's because the entire top case has to be replaced... even for a single key failure!

DO BUY:
MacBook Pro 13" -- 2020
MacBook Pro 16" -- 2019 and later.
These have the new "magic" (scissors) keyboards, as did the 2015 and earlier MBPs. These keyboards have been very reliable.

Also:
MacBook Pro 14" or 16" -- 2021

Final thought:
If you really REALLY want a good Mac laptop that's going to last a while, get either
- an Apple-refurbished 2021 MacBook Pro 14"
- an Apple-refurbished 2021 MacBook Pro 16"

+1 on the 2019 16" (IF it must be an Intel)
Besides the improved keyboard, it also features a better cooling system (fans, heatsink) and optimized voltage regulation for the CPU resulting in higher (sustained) performance with the same CPU models as the 15".
The 16" is also equipped with newer and more powerful GPUs. The base 16" Radeon Pro 5300M is on par with the top 15" optional Radeon Pro Vega 20 (or even outperforms it).

get the 14 inch, it has a way better (M1 Pro vs M1) chip, way better screen, better battery, and more ports. You'll like it a lot better.

guys i didnt buy it bec the 14 inch was sold to someone very quickly... Now this one is offered to me, what are your opinions please?

what's the price?

I just don't think it's a good idea to be buying an Intel Mac now, even used for "a good price"...
... unless you have a specific reason why you need an Intel CPU vis-a-vis the m-series.
(such as for bootcamp, etc.)

Thanks for you comment man - I really encouraged for it when I read ur comment at the top about MacBook 16 inch.

I think paying 1000-1100$ for a 16-inch i9 Macbook is better than paying around 2000$ for a 14-inch m2 !!

That's too much. Intel chips are being phased out right now and won't be supported anymore by apple in the next 1-2 years. Additionally, you can get a new apple silicon device for less and with a faster chip (the MacBook Air M2 is $1000, the m1 model is $900).

My suggestion is to get a refurbished one, you can get an M1 MacBook Air refurbished with those specs for $1360, or an M2 Air (or 13-inch Pro) for $1570. For you, the best option might be the 15-inch Air, which you can get refurbished with the same specs for $1610. Those devices will give you much more longevity, and have more battery and newer tech (such as newer RAM, SSD tech, faster charging, and so on.)
Explore the refurbished store (https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished/mac) to see if you can find a good one for you.

Thanks so much - Do you think the Macbook Air 15-inch will be good for web developing/designing work??

and will have a long life or the no fans is issue?

The 15-inch will be great for that kind of stuff. The fans won't be a problem, everyone thinks they are but in reality it's not a problem. It'll only show up if you are really pushing it. It will almost certainly be better than an intel MacBook Pro, as they have terrible thermals.

That's iffy... You probably need 16gb for your uses. Also, no problem.

yes, I just had a call with Apple Sales and they told me to get the 16 Gb Ram but I didn't find it in my country so I'm going to increase my budget and get the 14 Inch M1 ( I have no solution ).

I think the 14-inch M1 will be a great choice, right?

yes, for sure. I have the M2 14-inch and it's great. It will be way better than the 15-inch Air.

It's the most beautiful device I have ever used.
